From the highlands of Circasia in Quindío, the heart of Colombia’s coffee axis, comes a cup as vibrant and playful as the region itself. Grown at 1,650 meters on the celebrated farm of Edwin Noreña, this Caturra micro-lot showcases the bold experimentation Colombia is quickly becoming famous for.
This lot undergoes a meticulous black honey process, where mucilage is left intact during drying to preserve sweetness and complexity. It’s then co-fermented with fresh strawberries and cinnamon, allowing natural fruit sugars and spice aromatics to marry into the coffee, creating a confectionery-like profile that's indulgent yet elegant.
Expect a candy-like sweetness from first sip to finish:
🎠 Cotton candy & caramel up front creating silky, nostalgic sweetness
🍓 Ripe strawberry acidity bringing brightness and a juicy cup profile
🌿 A whisper of anise & warming spice layered for aromatic complexity
Flavor Experience:
Imagine a strawberry-dusted churro at a summer carnival, or a honey-glazed pastry topped with fresh berries and a sprinkle of spice. Soft, syrupy body meets sparkling fruit brightness, ending in a clean, lifted finish.
This is a coffee for the curious and for those who seek the edge of modern Colombian innovation and revel in cup profiles that surprise, delight, and linger long after the cup is finished.
